[After it became clear Anise wasn't returning anytime soon, the principal reluctantly handed over the items the Phantom had demanded. She was delivered safely back to her room without anyone noticing she was back. The next day she got ready as she would have normally done, making her way to her first hour class. No sooner had she sat down she was pulled aside for questioning by the principal. After an hour or so of question after question, the principal realized she wasn't getting anywhere and let the girl go, telling her to go back to her dorm room and rest for that day. Instead of doing that, she slipped into the courtyard and sat under a tree, looking deep in thought over what had happened.

Care to bother her?]

[Well, Dist was happy to see the girl back, and having a free moment, skipped out between classes to check on her. He was starting to have a lot of dreams with her in them, and it was starting to annoy him.

Most of his dreams annoyed him.

Strolling up to the tree casually enough, he looked down at the girl.]

Anise, it's good to have you back.

[Blinking, Anise gazed up at him, her eyes slightly unfocused before she smiled softly at the older gentleman.]

[Something about this bothered him terribly. What could he though? Anything? He finally reached down, patting her hand as if she were a small child and offered a smile of his own.]

Anise, do you want to talk about it? You obviously aren't hurt, what is it that happened to you?

There isn't much to talk about really...I was just stuck in a dark room for two days and he occasionally brought me food and water.

[The only reason she could see for being here was to talk to her friends and reassure them that everything was fine. Like water on a duck's back.]

[Ion hadn't been able to focus much when he heard Anise was back, and was taking his lunchtime to check on her now that he could. She had been looking out for him after all, he wanted to do the same.]

[Blinking, the girl looked up and smiled fondly at the boy. He's was a face she could never get tired of.]

[Sitting beside her, he pulled his knees up somewhat.]

[She reached over, ruffling his hair in a loving manner.]

[The ruffling makes him fidget and laugh softly. His hair would look really odd if ever really ruffled.]

[Setting down his lunch bag, he pulled out a sandwich, banana, and a bottle of milk. The sandwich was already halved, so he held one out.]

We should eat together. I can stop and visit Sheena after school if I get hungry later.

[Her stranger danger senses are tingling!]

[Hesitating after a moment, she looked defeated before taking the sandwich from his hand with a soft 'Thank you'.]

Sheena provided the food for the dance from her business.

[He nodded, taking a bite of his half and looking up at the sky. It was a good day now.]

Is that so...I'll have to try and find her shop sometime soon then, the food was really good.

[Following his gaze, she smiled softly as she relaxed against the tree. Today was going along much better now.]
